SONGITO hails from Ebenebe, Anambra State, Nigeria. He began his musical journey at a young age, composing songs during his secondary school days. His unique sound, labeled “The New Igba International Sound,” is gaining recognition worldwide.

Growing up in a police barrack was challenging, and SONGITO acknowledges the struggles of the streets. In his words: “the streets weren’t funny either,” but music became his solace, a passion he’s turned into a lifestyle

Since 2008, SONGITO has worked independently, releasing his debut single ERIMERI in collaboration with EJIMA042 in 2024. On July 7th, 2024, he dropped another single titled UDO featuring FANZY PAPAYA.
